Privacy Policy

Social Media Stream (the "Application") is a Social Media plugin offered through our partner marketplaces, such as Wix, Shopify and Weebly, and also as a standalone product. The Application is provided by CodeMagic LTD and Kodio LTD, both incorporated in Israel (the "Application Developer", "us" or "we"). The service is provided for individuals and businesses that look to display a feed with Social Media posts inside their website, on a TV screen or on a different media (the "User" or "you"). This Privacy Policy defines which information we collect about the User and how we process this information.

Information we collect

The application does not collect or send any kind of personally identifiable information from the User, except for information about the Social Network accounts that the User connets to their Social Media Stream feed, the address of the User's site, and the actual social media post posts that appear in the feeds connected by the user. This information is used for providing the service of displaying an aggregate feed containing posts from the different Social Networks select by the User.

The application may collect activity data for actions performed within the application (such as navigating between different screens, or clicking any of the buttons) using Google's analytics. The activity data will be stored alongside an identifier which uniquely identifies the User's website.

This activity data is is used to create reports about the use of the Application. We always strive to make the Application better, and we use this information as a basis for improving the Application. Google stores this information. Some of this information is also stored in Google Cloud BigQuery for further analysis. Google's privacy policy is available at: http://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html.

The Application uses a service called Sentry for collecting information about errors and bugs that happens from time to time in the Application. While we do not share any user information with Sentry on a regular basis, some of the errors may include relevant user information which is related for the error that has occurred and will be used by our technical teams to troubleshoot the error. This information may include a unique user identifier, and any information entered by the user in any page. Where the information is processsed

The Application Developer is based in Israel. No matter where you are located, you consent to the processing and transferring of your information in and to the Israel, the U.S. and other territories.

Data Retention

We generally retain our Users' data as long as they use our service, and for a period of at least one year after the Application has been removed from the Users' site. We may automatically remove data for Users who have been inactive for a period of one year or more, from time to time, or anonymize this data. Data may persist in copies made for backup purposes for additional time.

Requesting a copy of your data

Users can request a copy of the data we store for their site at any time, by contacting our support team through [email protected] and identifying themselves as the owners of the respective site. We may require users to provide additional proofs of identity in order to process their request. The data will be provided in computer-readable format, i.e. a JSON, CSV or XML file.

Requesting deletion of your data

Users can request their data to be removed from our database, by contacting our support team through [email protected] and identifying themselves as the owners of the respective site. We may require users to provide additional proofs of identity in order to process their request. Once we have verified the identity of the user, we will remove all the data related to their site from our database.

YouTube Terms of Service / API Client

By using the API Client, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. The API Client does not collect user data from the user's device.

Sharing of User Data
The API Client may share user data with third-party partners who help the API Client provide its services. These third-party partners may include companies that help the API Client with customer support, marketing, and analytics.

Data Security
The API Client takes steps to protect user data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These steps include using security measures such as encryption and firewalls.

Data Retention
The API Client will retain user data for as long as necessary to provide the user with the services that the API Client offers. The API Client may also retain user data for a longer period of time in order to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Users have the right to access, delete, or restrict the use of their data. please refer to the "Requesting a copy of your data" and "Requesting deletion of your data" sections above.

Children's Personal Information

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please refrain from submitting any personal information in the Application. We will promptly delete any personal information related to individuals under the age of 13 if we discover such information or upon receiving any report about such information.

Business Transactions, Mergers and Acquisitions

In an event that we (or any of our assets) are acquired by another person or company (the Acquiring Entity), whether by merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or otherwise, we may assign or transfer this Policy, as well as your account and related information, records, and data, including any personal information, to Acquiring Entity.

THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER PROVIDES THE SOFTWARE AND THE SERVICES "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ALL RISK OF QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE OR SERVICES REMAINS WITH YOU. BY INSTALLING OR USING THIS APPLICATION, YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS PROVIDED IN THIS DISCLAIMER AND THE FOLLOWING LIMITATION OF LIABILITY DISCLAIMER.

IN NO EVENT WILL THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER, ITS EMPLOYEES, DISTRIBUTORS, DIRECTORS OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT DAMAGES OR OTHER RELIEF ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE OR SERVICES INCLUDING, BY WAY OF ILLUSTRATION AND NOT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS OR LOST OPPORTUNITY, OR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LEGAL FEES, ARISING OUT OF SUCH USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM, EVEN IF THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY OTHER PARTY. BECAUSE SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, IN SUCH STATES OR JURISDICTIONS, THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER'S LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
